Fountain of Pollio

(Arch at right of photo.) Located close to the State Agora, it is the most beautiful fountain in Ephesus. It was built for E. Sextilius in 93 A.D by E. Atillius. It has a high arch facing the temple of Domitian.

The statue group of Odysseus and Polyphemus , that once were on the basin, are now displayed in Ephesus Museum.
